REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- What is a painful memory from your childhood that still feels unresolved?
- How have those wounds shaped the way you see yourself, God, or others?
- What lies have you believed because of those wounds?
DECLARATION OF TRUTH:
Speak this out loud over yourself:
“I am a child of God, loved and chosen by Him. My past does not define me, and my wounds do not have the final word. Today, I invite God to search my heart, reveal the hidden pain, and heal me with His truth. I choose to release the lies of the enemy and embrace the truth of who I am in Christ. I am free, healed, and whole in Jesus’ name!”
ACTION STEPS:
Set aside 15 minutes each day this week to sit quietly with God. Ask Him to bring to mind any hidden wounds He wants to heal. Write down what He reveals and bring it to Him in prayer. You need help, head over the our Community here in the Hub and ask for it. We are here to help you and support you!
- Speak It Out Loud:
Find a quiet space where you can talk openly with God. Say something like:
“Lord, I feel [insert emotion: hurt, rejected, abandoned, unworthy, afraid, etc.] because of [specific event or situation]. This pain has been weighing on my heart, and I need You to take it. I trust You to be my healer.”
- Break the Agreement:
Speak this declaration:
“In Jesus’ name, I break agreement with the lie that [insert lie]. I reject it and cast it out of my mind and heart. It no longer has power over me.” - Replace with God’s Truth:
Once you’ve identified and rejected the lie, ask God to replace it with His truth. Write down specific Scriptures that counter the lie and speak them out loud daily.- Lie: “I’m unworthy of love.”
Truth: “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” (Jeremiah 31:3) - Lie: “I’ll always fail.”
Truth: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) - Lie: “God has forgotten me.”
Truth: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)
- Lie: “I’m unworthy of love.”
REMEMBER:
Healing begins with awareness. The wounds may feel overwhelming at first, but remember, you’re not walking this road alone. God is with you, holding your hand every step of the way. He’s not afraid of your pain. In fact, He specializes in turning pain into purpose and scars into stories of redemption.
This is your first step toward freedom. Let’s move forward together!
